Religion is a complicated subject because in theory, it’s fine for people to believe whatever they want, while in practice, many of them insist YOU believe whatever THEY want.

This video posted on r/PublicFreakout by u/Smartercow is a perfect example of how Christian proselytizing can ruin any meal. In it, a woman dubbed “Christian Karen” approaches two young girls to tell them not to be gay together. Make assumptions much?

“Um..you go to church anywhere?” she asks, to open the convo.
“Do you guys know how to get to heaven?” she presses, after they say no.
The girls make a comment about how they have no idea who she is, and she responds, “I know, I know. I just see you guys, you guys aren’t like girlfriends are you?”
The girls respond that they are cousins, but the homophobic Christian doesn’t seem to really believe them.
“I just wanna let you guys know cause they don’t teach you young kids about god anymore and it’s just not the right way to live,” she says.
The girls tell her it’s “none of her business” and you can’t “force” Christian beliefs on people.
“Yeah, no I’m not into forcing it,” the lady lies.
Which they point out to her:
At that point, the lady blames her lord and savior and claims god himself told her to go over and harass some teen girls:
She finally leaves, and the girls try to process what just happened:

I don’t think I’ve fully processed it myself:
God, if you’re talking to your followers, can you please tell them to mind their own business? Thanks.
