A video currently going viral on TikTok shows what can happen when a woman gently and kindly turns down a man’s offer for a romantic pursuit in a culture where they’re not taught that no means no. The man in the footage refuses to take TikTok user G Baby’s no for an answer, repeatedly asking for her social media information as she responds “I’m good” over and over, and in the end appears to ram a shopping cart into her car hard enough to leave a massive dent.

And after he offered to let her come along on a trip to Walmart, too.

“Cute, man, what’s up, can I get your number?” the man asks as the video start.
“No, I’m good,” says G Baby.
“Taken? You got a man? You single?” he presses.
“Yeah, I’m, I’m good,” she repeats.
The man is off-screen for most of the video as the woman tries to discreetly film the interaction, knowing as all women do that interactions such as this one, in which an approaching man is being rejected, can quickly turn into a nightmare when the dude decides to react with violence. Lucky for this guy, G Baby only had a fairly docile dog with her who was small enough to fit in her cart.
He names nearly every social media platform under the stars as she repeatedly tells him “you can go,” until he finally asks to pet her dog, to which she says no, and he replies with a “f— you.” He then asks G Baby if the white vehicle she walked up to belongs to her, which she repeatedly confirms because apparently, this guy is just terrible at listening. When he is finally assured that it’s her car, he pushes an empty shopping cart around to the other side.
“F— your car!” he shouts.

Even at this point, he asks her for her Instagram and her phone number. He then asks her again if the white car is hers, at which point she seems like she can sense what’s about to happen while the computerized voice says “I hate being a girl.”
She doesn’t answer the man, but cautiously tries to go around the front so she can better catch him in the act as he uses the full force of his body to ram the shopping cart into the passenger side of the vehicle. A telltale crunch can be heard from the blow, and the camera catches a sight of the rear passenger door practically caved in from the impact.
TikTok user G Baby has promised to post a follow-up video on the incident after the video blew up, reaching over 1.6 million views in two days. She also addressed a number of doubters in the comments who felt that there’s no way a shopping cart could do that much damage alone, inviting them to “go test is out [on] their own car to see.” Other commenters who have worked at stores that use shopping carts have chimed in to say they know first hand that yes, those things can do a lot of damage when they get away from you, let alone with the full force of a grown man behind them.
Mostly, however, the comments are from other women who are utterly exhausted of having to deal with men.
“Men that can’t handle rejection are scary,” says one user. “I hate this because nothing you try to do is the right thing. They literally won’t accept it.”
“My anxiety just went crazy watching this,” said another. “We can’t even respond to them cause they think we interested.”
