GOP Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has — like the majority of her party — carried on Donald Trump’s circus in the former president’s absence. In her few months in office, Boebert has violated D.C. gun laws, spread false information on public platforms, sent a fundraising email in the wake of a mass shooting and voted against a bone marrow bill.

Remember, all this in just five months — with the majority happening in her first month in office. Twitter likes to remind Boebert just how terrible she is every once in a while and recently did so in a spectacular manner.

On May 16, Boebert — who is well known for using Christianity as a political weapon — tweeted a simple question: “What’s your favorite Bible verse?”
The tweet would have gone over well if, again, Boebert did not use Christianity as a scapegoat for her bigotry.
Instead, a lot of people took the opportunity to pluck verses out of the Bible that highlight Boebert’s hypocrisy.
