A member of the Alpha Phi sorority at Louisiana State University has been kicked out of the clubhouse after posting a TikTok mocking a trans official, but now she’s doubled down by posting a Newsmax story on her that features her now-deleted video.

The story revolves around U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health Dr. Rachel Levine, nominated to her post by President Joe Biden earlier this year, and Emily Hines, a conservative LSU student who posted the video to her TikTok account.
Though the original TikTok is gone, it can be seen in this clip from the right-wing streaming channel, which Hines posted to her @rightsideofemily Instagram account. on Saturday.

“I had no idea this was happening, but Newsmax’s own @ericbolling and jenn_pellegrino discussed my Tik Tok and sorority termination on Stinchfield this evening!” she exulted. “Watch and share!!”
The Newsmax video includes a clip from the TikTok, in which Hines dances to the Bee Gees’ “More Than a Woman” while pointing at a giant picture of Levine layered over the video.
Her account, which has just a little more than 750 followers despite the recent wave of attention, features content suggesting every side of Emily is a right side, including “A list of things I’m not sorry for,” which includes “having morals and values,” “seeing through the lies,” and “believing all lives matter.”
She asserted in that post, “And I will never be sorry for them!!” with hashtags reaching toward both sides of the political spectrum (but skewing decidedly rightward).
Hines’ story was picked up by right-wing site Breitbart as well as Newsmax. The article contended that Hines “received an email from the Alpha Phi International Fraternity Delta Tau Judiciary Board requesting that she meet with the board via Zoom to discuss her alleged violation of ‘Alpha Phi’s standing rules by posting inappropriate social media content.’”
Hines also contended, according to Breitbart, that “she was asked to delete her TikTok post, and was only given about four hours to do so, adding that sorority members typically get 12 hours.”
Hines declared “the chapter adviser crossed a line by telling me what my own intentions were,” noting that the Alpha Phi leaders told her she “was intending to belittle and demean someone for their beliefs.”

“They asked if I was remorseful at all, and I said I regret wearing the [Alpha Phi] sweatshirt, but was not going to apologize for my beliefs.”
And, if her Instagram account gives any indication, she will never be sorry for them.
