Twitter User Asks What You Would Say To God If You Met Him On Earth: 30 Replies

Twitter user David McGeoch recently asked a question on the platform that has been posed by humans many times before: “If you met God on earth for a few minutes what would you say to him?”

Thanks to social media, we can get answers from people all over the world with many different perspectives all making basically the same three jokes over and over, but there were some interesting and unique responses as well.

Aside from all the Catholics piping in to say that they meet God and talk to him every Sunday, there were a lot of people asking some of the classic questions such as why good people suffer, why bad people get all the money, and what he was thinking when he created folks like Donald Trump. A surprising number of people wanted to say nothing at all to God, electing instead to try and fight him.

Still, others had some touching and sincere replies, thanking God for the beautiful world we live in and asking if heaven was real and what they could do to make the world a better place. Then there were the atheists.

It’s not easy to come up with what you would say to an all-powerful being given the brief chance to speak to him, her, they, or it, but hundreds of people made the attempt. These are some of our favorite answers:
