While taking pictures and videos of people in public may generally not be illegal, there are times when it’s not particularly harmless either—and might be downright creepy.

That’s what one TikToker named Daisy (@dayskae) had to deal with after she realized a guy was taking pictures of her and her twin sister while they were out shopping, leading to her turning the tables and turning her own camera on him as their boyfriends confronted him.

As the video picks up, the boyfriends are already demanding to know why the man thought taking pictures of random women he doesn’t know is a good idea. One stands behind him, asking him to scroll through his photos so he can watch him delete the pictures he took.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” the man says as he complies.

“Don’t sit here and say ‘yeah, yeah, yeah,’” the TikToker’s boyfriend, Chase, fires back. “Who the f—k do you think you are, sitting here, taking pictures of girls?”

“I don’t know,” he replies.

The other boyfriend goes off to grab a store employee to inform them about what’s going on, as Chase continues to watch to ensure the man is fully deleting every photo.

“69 f—king items,” Chase says after the phone is cleared. “What are you, a pedophile? You sick f—k.”

“Don’t get back on your camera when I walk away,” Daisy warns.

Before they can leave, the other man returns with an employee. They explain the situation and the man admits to having taken photos of the young women.

“And they’re all deleted,” he said. “That’s f—king sick. You are one sick pig, dude,” Chase said as they all finally walked away.

Some TikTok viewers defended the man, claiming that since he wasn’t technically doing anything illegal, no one should have complained.

However, most people understand that just because something isn’t against the law doesn’t mean it’s right, and applauded the women and their boyfriends for stopping and saying something to him.

“Men who call out other men, we thank you,” wrote @s_air_uhhh.

“Glad you confronted him!” @mo_myerz agreed. “Wish more men would go after creeps like this. Most applaud or excuse it though.”

And @herbivoreshawna made an excellent point — “For the people saying *ItS NoT IlLegAl* well it’s not illegal for dudes to confront him either and get him to delete them.”

Daisy herself added a comment saying that the man wasn’t even trying to hide the fact that he was taking pictures, but was standing “right behind” them with his sound up, so his phone made an audible sound with every picture he took. She said she initiated the confrontation and at first, he “played dumb.”

“Glad we weren’t shopping alone,” she wrote.
