She gave a speech to world leaders at the UN. She was TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year by 16. Some people might have thought Greta Thunberg had peaked.

Nope!
She’s been a public face of autism and an advocate for neurodiversity acceptance. She has continued working to stop climate change. And through it all, she’s found time for some of Twitter’s most delightful snark. Especially when world leaders mocked her online.
Vladimir Putin called for her exclusion by “the adults” from conversations around the climate crisis. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro called her a “pirralha,” which means “brat,” when she spoke against the killing of indigenous people in the Amazon. And, infamously, Donald Trump insulted her for her U.N. speech and for being named Person of the Year. In each instance, Greta clapped back by changing her Twitter bio. The internet approved.

Most recently, we were #blessed with another cheeky Thunberg moment. Greta shared a very brass-tacks infographic titled, “Reasons Why Women Have Abortions.”
Some Twitters users felt the meme was “flippant,” and of course there were plenty of detractors. But overall, as usual, the internet seized the chance to bask in the sunshine that is Greta’s wit.

The days are getting shorter now, but Twitter always has a little extra light when Greta speaks her mind!
