Healthcare Worker Refuses Vaccine and Then Refuses To Accept She’s Fired

TikTok user @journeyintruth is not ashamed of refusing the vaccine, but she did turn off the comments on her TikToks in which she is refusing to leave her former place of work.

That place of work appears to be a medical center in Kentucky, meaning she is a healthcare worker who is unvaccinated and as The Daily Dot points out, she’s in an at-will state, which means she can be terminated anytime for any reason. It’s a horrible policy that is destroying worker’s rights—but they’re also not doing anything illegal to her by turning her away!

In the video, the woman is talking to a security guard and another lady in medical scrubs, who says that they’ve already explained to the unvaccinated woman that she is no longer welcome at the facility and taken her complaints to HR, “So you do not work here anymore.”

“I did not quit, and I was not fired,” the unvaccinated woman answers. “There’s only two options. I have not been fired; I did not receive a termination letter.”

“You’re going to have to leave. We need your badge, and you need to leave,” scrubs repeats.

“On what grounds?” the unvaccinated woman answers, and eventually the director of security steps in saying she needs to hand in her badge. He then asks her again if she’s vaccinated.

“No, sir. And I was not terminated, and I didn’t quit,” she replies. Bit of a broken record.

A shorter clip shows a male employee in a mask telling her she has been “terminated” which she also doesn’t seem to take as meaning she’s been fired at first. But yeah, she’s been fired.

Just FYI, most of @journeyintruth’s TikToks are about the Bible and her belief that the earth is flat.

Her original TikTok was eventually posted on Reddit’s r/byebyejob, where Redditor Vegetable-Curve-8136 about summed the situation up by commenting, “The fact that she’s recording cause she feels like she’s right……… you are making a fool out of yourself.”
