It’s unclear what started the trouble between the man recording and the woman later identified as Jessica Fuentes. The two appeared to be parked next to one another outside of a Bank of America in Norwalk, Connecticut, and when the video started up, Fuentes was already insisting she was calling the cops.
Her only complaint on the video itself was that the man had his phone out taking photos and video, which she claimed is “against the law.”

“You Mexicans are going to learn your lesson. Keep it up,” she told him. “You’re a Mexican. You’re illegal. And that’s against the law.”
Fuentes then appeared to be talking to someone on her phone — possibly police — and told them that there was a man recording her and her kids.
“I don’t know if he’s illegal. I don’t know if he don’t speak English,” she said, despite previously engaging with the man in English. “But this is against the law.”
She read his license plate number to the person on the other line and complained that he was still recording her, before repeating her claim that she doesn’t think he speaks English.
For the second time, the man informed her that yes, he does.
“So if you spoke English, you would know what you’re doing is against the law, sir,” Fuentes fired back.
The video left a lot of viewers confused, from wondering what started the drama to why Fuentes believes recording someone in public is worth calling the cops over.
“Why do these morons all think being recorded in public is illegal?” asked u/luvgun21.

“Wow, the self-hatred is real, her last name is f—king Fuentes,” u/LilRedHR said, referencing her blatant racism.
“Why do Karens treat the cops as People Customer Service?” asked u/Hipster-Link. “‘Excuse me Customer Service, I want to make a complaint about someone that’s bothering me in a very trivial way, come take care of it.’”
Fuentes previously made headlines last December when she and her daughter attacked another woman at the mall over “past personal issues.” They were charged with assault, risk of injury to a minor, and breach of peace.
