@maddens.mama posted the short clip to the social media platform over the weekend, captioning it “Karen tests my sister, the MANAGER. Seek help boo.”

In the video, the “Karen” in question is already in the middle of screaming in the manager’s face that she’s an “ignorant motherf—king b—ch.”

The manager asks her to leave but the white woman keeps going off even as collects her things to go.

“Oh, I’m leaving,” she says. “You’re going to be leaving soon, too. I promise you that, you f—king no good b—ch.”

“Okay, that’s fine. Bye, have a good day,” the manager replies.

“F—k you, you f—king Black bitch!” she screams on her way out the door.

“Okay, that doesn’t bother me.”

“F—k you!” the white woman screeches.

“Okay, have a good day!” the manager calls out.

At this point, the customer has gotten all the way outside, but inexplicably comes back in just to throw her racism around a little more, shouting something in which she compares the manager to “a f—king monkey.”

TikTokers were simultaneously disgusted by the customer’s behavior and impressed by the level of calm the manager maintained in the face of such ugliness.

“She clearly kept goin because she wanted a reaction out of the girl,” one user wrote. “I’m happy she didn’t give her one.”

“It’s the GET OUT! for me…she handled this very Professional,” said another.

According to @maddens.mama, the whole thing started because the customer was trying to “return a pair of shoes that had already been worn” to a Ross store in Missouri.

She also shared a message from her sister aka the manager in the video.

“Honestly I want people to stop making excuses for [their] actions,” the manager wrote in a text. “She was racist because she [chose to be]! That was her choice!!!!”

She added that “we have to be better for our children.”
