Skywriting Marriage Proposal Takes Dig At Joe Rogan And Twitter Has A Field Day

Residents of Los Angeles had a skywriting surprise over the weekend that took a sharp left turn at the end.

At first, the letters in the clouds seemed like your average proposal — “Will you marry me Mollie Pratt?” written in big letters above the city. According to Twitter users who watched the whole thing play out in real time, the question was immediately followed by “she said yes,” “I love you more than anything,” “excited to spend my life with you,” and “until death do us part.”

But the final message in the mystery proposer’s series didn’t quite fit in with the rest.

“Joe Rogan is literally 5 foot 3,” the skywriting concluded.

Well, the first time it actually said “liteally,” but the spelling mistake was corrected as the plane continued to fly across the city.

Rogan, the controversial podcaster who recently caused a stir by suggesting young, healthy people shouldn’t get vaccinated, is allegedly actually 5’8”.

But that didn’t stop Twitter users from being highly amused by the larger than life content.

We still haven’t heard more about Mollie Pratt or whoever proposed to her — or whether this was just some sort of purposely weird lead up just to get to the Joe Rogan joke — but if it was a legitimate proposal, it will certainly be a memorable one.
