The Bush family keeps running for office, maybe because they don’t know about other types of jobs. That’s why we all need to know now about the existence of yet another George Bush—this one is George P. Bush, son of Jeb “Please Clap” Bush and the grandson George H. W. Bush, the butt grabber and former president. Mr. P is running for the office of attorney general in Texas, and he’s seeking the endorsement of Donald Trump.

This is a controversial choice even amongst Republicans, because Trump went out of his way to publicly disrespect the Bush family, retweeting a racist comment about Jeb Bush’s wife. Also, Trump is awful. It seems like this Bush thinks it’s worthwhile to align himself with the man, which says a lot about what kind of AG he plans to be.

This Bush has been supporting Trump for a while, backing him in 2016 and 2020, and Trump referred to him as “my Bush,” according to The Daily Dot. Trump went on to say, “This is the only Bush that likes me. This is the Bush that got it right. I like him.”
And Bush liked that so much he put it on a beer koozie:
This is starting to seem like a Trump campaign. Despite the brown-nosing, Bush hasn’t officially been chosen by Trump as his preferred candidate in the race.

“I like them both very much,” Trump told CNN, referring to Bush’s competition Ken Paxton. “I’ll be making my endorsement and recommendation to the great people of Texas in the not-so-distant future.”
The man loves getting sucked up to, so he’s definitely not going to rush through this situation.

Considering how much time he’s spent with Trump, Bush is clearly a man who doesn’t mind being humiliated. The tweets probably aren’t bothering him.
