Former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is reportedly running up some major debt as he fights criminal charges and efforts to have his license to practice law revoked in New York. It doesn’t help that, predictably, Donald Trump has not paid up for the “legal services” provided by Giuliani, such as all those sweaty press conferences in which he swore he had evidence of mass voter fraud in the 2020 election but was never able to produce any.

With bills piling up and Trump’s reputation for simply not paying people what he owes, the lawyer has been reduced to hawking My Pillow junk on his long YouTube conspiracy videos. The Recount caught some of this on what they say was an hour-long video on the topic of UFOs.

“I’ve been sleeping on My Pillows for some time. I love them. They are simply the very best pillows ever made,” says Giuliani with the fakest enthusiasm over infomercial music. “But I just found out that they also have a wide assortment of other incredible products like their mattress toppers, sheets, towels, and slippers! And more!”
Even some of the staunchest critics of Giuliani have described this clip as “depressing,” though others are understandably reveling in just how far the Trump attorney has fallen.
According to reports from early May, allies of Giuliani have been practically begging Trump to help pay for his legal bills, particularly his son and New York gubernatorial candidate Andrew Giuliani, who seems to be operating under the impression that the Florida man will surely pay up once he realized his dad is definitely innocent.
“Once President Trump actually understands that his lead counsel was not indemnified, he’s going to resolve this very quickly,” he said.

“The legal costs with him fighting to retain his law license in New York and fighting the Southern District (of New York) on what I think are bogus charges, that should be indemnified.”
Rudy and Andrew probably should not hold their breaths, however, especially if they remember that USA Today report from 2016 on the literally hundreds of people who came forward to say that Trump owes them money. Among those individuals are more of his former lawyers, as well as low-income workers and family businesses that collapsed after the former president failed to pay his massive bills.
According to CNN, Trump and his current legal team have been unresponsive to the Giuliani camp’s request for him to pay up in spite of him “sitting on a substantial pile of cash” from aggressive fundraising campaigns following his election loss in November. Rather than using that money to “stop the steal” or whatever, most of it was funneled into Trump’s personal PAC.
