On Thursday, Donald Trump gave a press conference which went off the rails, like many of his press conferences.

At one point Trump lashed out at a reporter who asked him if he planned to concede the election to Joe Biden. He didn’t like that, yelling at the White House correspondent, “You’re just a lightweight. Don’t talk to me that way! I’m the President of the United States! Don’t ever talk to the President that way.”

That outburst, combined with some shots of the itty-bitty desk he was sitting behind, was enough to get #DiaperDon trending as people mocked the president’s childish behavior.

Later that day, Trump started tweeting out about how Twitter promotes false trends that have “absolutely nothing to do with what is really trending in the same world.”

While he didn’t name the hashtag, it can be inferred that he saw it and was not happy about it. That’s when he started tweeting about Section 230:

Section 230 protects websites from liability for third party content, so the threat to repeal it could have terrible repercussions for companies like Twitter or Facebook, which contain so much third party content.

Trump would like to control everything that appears on Twitter, and if he can’t, he wants to punish people for making fun of him. Sounds like someone needs their diaper changed.
