Trump Supporters Convinced The Georgia Runoffs Will Be Rigged Call For Election Boycott

Donald Trump supporters across the U.S., discouraged by the president’s constant claims that Democrats are rigging election results that benefit him, are calling for boycotts of the Georgia runoff elections that will determine which party controls the national Senate. It’s gotten so bad that Donald Trump Jr. had to hop on Twitter and beg his dad’s supporters to stop telling Georgia Republicans not to vote for Georgia Republicans.

Many of these boycott calls have been spotted on right-wing social media platform Parler as more and more Trump supporters abandon Twitter, with some suggesting that voters write in Donald Trump’s name instead of the Republican candidates. Some are even spreading conspiracy theories that the “deep state” is using elections to make a list of people who don’t vote Democrat and collect their personal information.

Even Ali Alexander, a popular right-wing influencer on Twitter who is considered a leader in the so-called “stop the steal” movement, announced that “our people” would be boycotting the Georgia runoffs unless the candidates attempt something radical.

“After talking with residents and our team:,” he tweeted, “Our people aren’t voting for @KLoeffler or @Perduesenate unless there’s a press release, from each of them, demanding a Special Session of the Georgia State Legislature.”

What calling a special session in Georgia would accomplish is unclear, but even newly elected Republican congresswoman and Qanon believer Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks Alexander’s tweet is a terrible idea.

This kind of threat will hand over the Senate to the Socialist Democrats!

Georgia voters won’t tolerate this!

Meanwhile, a video of a Trump supporter apparently angry that Georgia’s Republican governor isn’t trying hard enough to steal the election for Trump went viral as he threatened a boycott of the runoff elections. In fact, he called for the destruction of the entire Republican party if Joe Biden is allowed to take power.

“If the Republican establishment stands back and stands by and allows the steal to go through, we will do whatever it takes to completely destroy the Republican Party,” he said. “We will accept nothing less than a Donald Trump victory.”

All of this is, of course, like candy to anyone who voted for Joe Biden. “Destroying the Republican Party to own the libs,” joked one commenter on the video. Others seemed to be attempting to encourage the boycott.

“This makes ZERO sense. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are DEEP STATE and CANNOT BE TRUSTED,” wrote Jake, who described himself as a “#NewSouthProgressive.”

“True Patriots BOYCOTT the Georgia Runoffs.”

If both Loeffler and Perdue are defeated by their opponents, Democrats will obtain control of the U.S. Senate along with the White House and the House of Representatives.
