Twitter Reminds Jenna Ellis Of Her Trump-Hating Past After She Calls Him A “WARRIOR”

Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis has been in the news quite a bit lately for saying ridiculous things as she fights a losing battle alongside Rudy Giuliani to install Donald Trump in the White House for a second term. This time, all she had to do was post a photo of Trump leaning weirdly over the resolute desk with the caption “WARRIOR” and Twitter is letting her know in no uncertain terms that they’re sick of her.

Aside from pointing out how many legal battles she’s lost in the space of a couple of weeks, many of her critics are reminding her that she didn’t always seem to think Trump was much of a “WARRIOR.” Some dug up an old Facebook post of hers from 2016 absolutely trashing Trump supporters in spite of now being one four and a half years later.

“I could spend a full-time job just responding to the ridiculously illogical, inconsistent, and blatantly stupid arguments supporting Trump,” past Jenna Ellis wrote. “But here’s the thing: his supporters DON’T CARE about facts or logic. They aren’t seeking truth. Trump probably could shoot someone in the middle of NYC and not lose support.”

She ended by saying that the U.S. doesn’t have “truth seekers; we have narcissists.” As it turns out, she was more correct than she knew back then.

Ellis hasn’t been having the best day, also getting dragged to Factville for posting a fake Teddy Roosevelt quote.

“To anger a conservative, lie to him. To anger a liberal, tell him the truth,” says the quote misattributed to Roosevelt.

Nobody could find any records of Roosevelt actually saying that, and when hundreds of people pointed this out to her, Ellis’ excuse was that it’s all okay because the idea feels true to her.

To be clear, there isn’t even an unspecific record of him saying this, and it sounds like something a Trump supporter came up with in 2017 and posted on Pinterest. But Ellis thinks the “idea” is true so apparently she gets to attribute it to whoever she wants.

She might not like that rule so much when other people start using it against her.
