Man Caught On Video Mocking Neighbor’s Autistic Sister

A video of a man getting extremely unnecessary in an argument with his neighbors has gone viral as people object to the man’s resorting to attacking a child with autism, referring to her common stimming behaviors and calling her “r—–ed.” It’s unclear what the argument was actually about, but according to the woman who posted the video on Twitter, he “decided to insert himself” into the argument that didn’t involve him and make it ugly.

“I am appalled by what I witnessed today,” wrote Zoe. “This man decided to insert himself into a verbal argument (that did not involve him) against my family, which resulted in him referring to my autistic little sister as ‘r*******’ plus making fun of her stimming and self injury.”

Stimming refers to certain behaviors favored by some neurodivergent individuals including many on the autism spectrum that stimulate them in some way. These often look like repeated movements or sounds, and stimming is not limited to autistic folks.

In the video, the man can clearly be heard referring to this behavior after calling the autistic girl and her brother the r-word. He can also be seen making a motion with his hands that appears to be mocking the child in a style reminiscent of a certain soon-to-be-ex president.

“Because you’re a weak-minded motherfucker, with a r—–ed fucking daughter, a r—–ed f—king son,” he says with his mask pulled down from his mouth as bystanders shout at him to stop. “She’s gonna bang her head on the wall with a helmet, right?”

The man continues his tirade in spite of being warned multiple times that he’s being recorded.

“That’s sad that you have something to say about disabled children,” shouts the woman recording him. “That’s really sad because we got it on video.”

Zoe followed up her posting of the video by outing the man as an employee of the IRS. Twitter users were soon able to identify him as Vincent Ventimiglia before his LinkedIn account disappeared. An IRS employee contacted by the Daily Dot did not confirm that Ventimiglia works for the agency but said it would be looked into.

The video has begun to spread rapidly after being shared by Twitter account “Fifty Shades of Whey” and landing on the “Public Freakout” Reddit forum. Many individuals expressed their outrage at the man’s behavior and offered their support to Zoe and her sister.

“God bless your little sister, your love for her will always cancel out the evil,” wrote Jep Roadie. “And plus one day his words will lead him to a fierce right hook.”

“Every parent of a disabled child has their heart being broken into a million pieces watching this,” commented Donna D. “Unfortunately, far too common. I hope he is named and shamed.”
