During a heated hearing Wednesday in Michigan on the topic of alleged and still unproved mass voter fraud, people couldn’t help but notice at least two instances of very audible and undeniably fart-like sounds that happened right when Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was speaking. Of course, fart sounds can come from a variety of sources that may or may not be butts, so a lively debate was quickly stirred up to the point that Snopes already has an article laying out the facts.

According to researchers, the audio is authentic and not doctored to add fart noises. However, since farts are not visible, they had to leave it as a mixed conclusion.

You’ll simply have to listen for yourself.
In a longer video that can be found on Reddit, at least two instances of fart-like sounds can be heard, one near the beginning of the video and the other close to the end. The second time, the woman next to Giuliani appears to give him a bit of a look, which some have taken as additional evidence that the lawyer did, in fact, supply it.

The alleged farts are the only newsworthy bits to come out of the Michigan hearing after Giuliani and fellow Trump toady Jenna Ellis trotted out the same shouty claims of fraud while Democrats attempted to ask for evidence.
Giuliani has, shall we say, struggled to maintain any credibility after a series of public disasters, including the Four Seasons Total Landscaping mix-up and the melting hair dye during a particularly sweat press conference. Not to mention the revelations that he was not only pranked into taking a woman playing an underage girl into her hotel bedroom for the Borat sequel, he managed to get on the bed and put his hands down his pants.

It also doesn’t help that one of his star witnesses for the Michigan hearing yesterday made some extremely racist statements into the microphone.
“I think Chinese all look alike,” she said. “How can you tell? If some Chow shows up, you can be anybody and you can vote.”
Another star witness was so off-the-wall that even Giuliani tried to shush her during some of her testimony.
Just 28 days until 2020 is over.
