Donald Trump Complains Melania Didn’t Get Any Fashion Covers While COVID Aid Waits

The marriage between Donald Trump and First Lady Melania has been subject to a lot of scrutiny and it sure seems like she does not like her husband. She also hates Christmas, which kind of got brushed over. But everyone remembers the series of hand slapping videos that showed Melania would rather watch Donald fall down a flight of stairs than feel his touch.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t got her back when it comes to stuff that wounds his ego involving her. For the holiday, Trump went and vacationed in Mar-a-Lago since there’s obviously no way in hell he would stay home and not travel in a pandemic.

In between golf games, Trump had the time to read a headline from Breitbart about how Melania hasn’t gotten any big league fashion covers during the last four years.

“The elitist snobs in the fashion press have kept the most elegant First Lady in American history off the covers of their magazines for 4 consecutive years,” Breitbart wrote. Yeah, because she’s not cool and everyone hates her, surprise.

Trump retweeted this with the words, “The greatest of all time. Fake news!”

I think he is standing up for Melania here, though it could be interpreted in a whole bunch of different ways, especially that “fake news.” Breitbart is fake news, you’re right, Mr. President.

People are very offended. Not on Melania’s behalf, on the behalf of thousands of Americans dying from COVID every day while the president subtweets Vogue.
