Karen Melts Down Over Kids Climbing A Tree In Her Neighborhood

People usually associated Karens with stores and complaining to managers, but they can be found everywhere—including, as two boys found in a TikTok video published to the platform on Friday—outside, while trying to climb a tree.

The four-part sequence begins with a quick video clip promising, “We’re going Karen hunting,” and while it’s the least-viewed of the four, it still had garnered nearly a half-million page views as of Friday.

The second part starts with the two boys scouting the Karen walking through their neighborhood from their position in the tree.

As the Daily Dot reported, “After being confronted, the boy filming declines to leave and states that the tree is on his friend’s property.”

The Karen, however, counters the tree is on “nobody’s property” and insists the boys come down. She adds, “It belongs to this street and this neighborhood, and we don’t want kids on it!”

(Judging from the view in the video, the tree does look like it’s definitely in someone’s property rather than in a shared, public area that someone would need to patrol.)

In the final video, which has more than 5.6 million pageviews, she begins demanding to know where one of the boys lives.

“So where do you live?” she asks. “Who’s your parents?”

The boy points out that’s an unreasonable request for a stranger to be making, and wonders how she’d feel if someone asked that of one of her kids.

(He really does have a point.)

However, she doesn’t quite see it the same way, countering with, “You are just a little sh—t!”
