Senator Kyrsten Sinema, who made a name for herself by doing a cute little curtsy as she voted down a $15 minimum wage, clearly has not been forgotten or forgiven for this by progressives and leftists who are currently roasting a recent photo of herself that she posted on Instagram.

The selfie features Sinema drinking what might be Sangria with a crazy straw in a bright pink hat and glasses, rather large skull-and-crossbones earrings, and, most notably, a ring that literally says “f— off.”

A Democrat wearing an outfit like this might normally be embraced by the left, but those who remember her flippant rejection of what many feel is a living wage and who are aware of her current work to make the minimum wage just $11 per hour feel that this “f— off” attitude is aimed at the poor.

Sinema is currently working with centrist Senator Joe Manchin and not-extremely-far-right Republican Senator Mitt Romney to craft an $11 federal minimum wage bill. While it’s an improvement from $7.25, it has faced criticism from the left for being not nearly enough to allow someone working 40 hours a week to survive in reasonable conditions in many cities across the U.S.
Sinema and Manchin are also reportedly teaming up to say a 28 percent corporate tax rate is too high, talking their fellow Democrats down to just 25 percent. This is down from a 35 percent tax rate for the highest earnings from the pre-Trump years going all the way back to 1994.
As a result, left Twitter has become something of a roast hall for Sinema today. If you’re annoyed or disgusted with the senator right now, you’ll likely enjoy this selection of some of the hardest-hitting tweets about her:
