Madison Cawthorn Ripped For Saying Republicans Will Prosecute Dr. Fauci

Madison Cawthorn, a Republican Rep. from North Carolina, accused Dr. Anthony Fauci of lying to Congress. Cawthorn made these allegations to Real America’s Voice host Jenna Ellis, stating: “You can just go back and very simply look through the clips of Dr. Fauci speaking back in May or even subsequent months after that, and you can tell he has directly lied to Congress.”

Cawthorn also made the absurd promise that if the GOP gains control of the House in 2022, he will prosecute Dr. Fauci “to the fullest ability of the law.”

Cawthorn’s comments come a day after Fauci and Sen. Rand Paul exchanged heated words. Rand suggested that Fauci had lied about gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China and Fauci said Paul was the one who was lying.

Even though vaccines have been a huge tool in the fight against this virus, the pandemic still rages across the globe as people refuse to get their jab or are unable to access it. There is much to learn about COVID-19 and still lots of work to be done.

So folks were not having Cawthorn’s comments and took to Twitter to summarily roast him.

Cawthorn has lately also questioned President Joe Biden’s mental fitness as well as wondered if Biden’s plan to provide door-to-door vaccines could lead to the government confiscating peoples’ guns and Bibles.
