On Thursday, Dalton, Georgia, hosted an American First political rally attended by all of the most determined of Donald Trump followers. Many of them have had to turn their demented adoration on new objects in the public eye, and one anonymous woman’s focus on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is alarming to say the least. In an interview with CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, the MTG fan compared her to Jesus Christ.

O’Sullivan interviewed a number of attendees for a New Day montage of the America First vibe, and it’s a bad vibe to say the least. Even amidst the chaos, the woman has stood out.

“You don’t need me to tell you, a lot of people don’t like Marjorie Taylor Greene,” O’Sullivan said to her.
“That’s okay because you know what?” she replies, “A lot of people didn’t like Jesus Christ.”
There, the clip cuts to a moment with House Speaker Paul Ryan, condemning “outrage peddlers detached from reality and not worth anybody’s time” which is really his party’s base. That hypocrisy is underlined as O’Sullivan asks the Jesus lady about how Rep. Greene keeps comparing mask mandates to Nazis and the Holocaust.
“Well, I can understand that,” she answers. “With Mengele the Nazi who experimented with children and drugs.”
O’Sullivan asks, “You’re talking about the vaccine?”
“Yes,” she says. So, she really is a huge MTG fan, because this sort of rhetoric has been gaining steam online and at these types of conservative rallies across the U.S., in particular comparisons to Nazi-era Germany and required vaccinations. It grows more offensive by the day, which is likely why these types of people are attracted to it.
Marjorie Taylor Greene was joined as host for the rally by Matt Gaetz, another representative with a terrible reputation, particularly for buying sex from minors. Would Jesus Christ be seen with him on stage?
