When one joke Facebook site made a post about “Trump Dildos” being for sale at their store, a lot of people were confused. Is this for real?
The Facebook post, which was credited to “Mike Oxmall’s Guns & Ammo” (hint: saying it out loud might tip you off that it’s fake) made a stir on Twitter featuring dildos with Trump’s head and the caption “for the special lady in your life.” There was also a caveat: these dildos were definitely “NOT FOR MEN.”
Well, the whole thing was a joke, but that didn’t stop folks on Twitter from engaging with the strange sex toy story on social media.

Apparently, the dildos went very viral, and the phrase “NOT FOR MEN” began trending on Twitter. Some people could have done without clicking through.

Even though the story was fake, the Donald Trump dildo does exist. San Francisco-based feminist artist Hutchtastic created the dildos to comment on Trump’s sexist attitude towards women. Hutchtastic told Playboy about the impetus behind her creations: “Donald Trump is trying to f*ck me and everyone I care about. I just want to give people an opportunity to f*ck him back.”
The Daily Dot reached out to Mike Oxmall’s Guns & Ammo for comment, and they admitted the whole thing was a joke.
“The entire account was created to troll the far-right and sadly too many fell for it,” they said. “Way too many on both sides. It’s supposed to highlight the racism and homophobia that lies within the party. It seemed so real to people, and the more outrageous the post got to more real it seemed. Sadly this is how far right some Trump supporters have become.”
