A TikToker who works as an abortion clinic escort in Nebraska shared a video of an anti-choice protestor assaulting her — and somehow trying to pin the blame on her.

Shelly, who posts from @thedeathscorts on TikTok, recently posted video that was recorded several months ago outside the Clinics for Abortion and Reproductive Excellence in Bellevue, Nebraska. In the footage, a man named Pat asks another protestor, Bernadette, to trade places with him so he can stand closer to Shelly.

“I’ll handle our liar,” he tells his companion. “You can handle the truth.”
In a caption, Shelly notes that Pat asked his wife to record and “brought multiple blank posterboards taped together,” two things she says he doesn’t usually do when she has to deal with him protesting.
He can be heard directing his wife where to film from, although nothing resembling an altercation has taken place at this point.
But not long after, he casually wanders closer to Shelly and makes sure that he is out of view of her camera. According to her caption, “he was pushing and body checking” her and then hitting her in the face.
It’s clear there’s the start of some sort of scuffle going on, as Shelly tells him repeatedly “you’re hurting me,” and then she appears to be defending herself as it looks like Pat is shoving his cardboard at her face.
“Are you f—king insane?” she asks when she finally gets clear of him. “You just hit me in the f—king face!”

“You’re going to jail,” Pat replies, accusing of her destroying his property aka the cardboard sign he appeared to be hitting her with.
According to Shelly, the footage that Pat so pointedly had his wife record “mysteriously disappeared” when the police showed up. They did, however, have her recording, and another clinic worker can be seen recording in the background as well while telling Pat that he was the one who instigated the altercation.
Shelly pressed charges and said that Pat was ultimately found guilty of “third-degree assault with mutual consent,” which suggests Shelly entered into the fight with him willingly.
“Essentially, the judge is saying that I asked for it,” she said in an update video. “Or at least that’s what it sounds like to me. So that was a little disappointing.”

Pat was only sentenced to 12 months of unsupervised probation and a $50 fine, which Shelly said she feels is equivalent to the judge putting a price on their heads and telling protestors they can assault clinic workers if they’re willing to pony up $50.
“I will say that I’m really glad we went through this process, and I do think that this is a win in some ways,” she said. “A man who’s extremely well-connected, wealthy, white, and powerful was convicted of assaulting a worker at an abortion clinic in a very conservative county. So, to me, that’s something.”
And despite Pat’s repeated jeers, obviously, Shelly did not end up in jail for busting his stupid cardboard sign.
