In the wake of the Supreme Court vote to decline to rule on Texas’ SB8, the extreme anti-choice law outlawing 85 percent of all abortions in the state, the so-called “pro-life” website soliciting reports of anything adjacent to abortion in Texas issued a statement saying the site was still up and encouraging people to use it.

The website, prolifewhistleblower.com, was condemned by abortion rights advocates when it appeared weeks ago and was recently flooded with fake reports and general trolling by people who don’t think you should be able to sue someone for pursuing necessary medical care.

The Texas bill managed to dodge being struck down for its clear violation of Roe v. Wade for declaring that it wouldn’t be officially enforced but would allow people to sue anyone who has or “aids and abets” an abortion after six weeks, earning each snitch $10,000 for a successful lawsuit. This website creates an easy and convenient way to begin that process, prompting concerns that it could be used by abusive partners or any vindictive jerk to financially burden any target, as they would not be punished for losing their case.

Though social media posts have praised and encouraged people submitting troll reports to overload and hopefully crash this website, a statement from a totally not creepy lady, who calls herself Elizabeth in the full video, says that the system is still up and running and had something totally not weird to say about the trolls.

“Those who worship at the altar of child sacrifice tried to shut down prolifewhistleblower.com, but the site is still functioning and active and awaiting your reports and findings,” she says.

The video and the snitch system come courtesy of the far-right PAC Texas Right to Life, which purports to “peacefully and prayerfully protects the God-given Right to Life of innocent human beings from fertilization to natural death.”

The website does appear to be fully functional at this time, but pro-choice activists have continued to explore ways to disrupt it, including TikTok user Sean Black, who created a workaround on his iPhone usable by anyone with this kind of device to the site blocking him from issuing false reports. He issued close to 300 fake entries before his IP address was banned using an automated program he created, but this hero was undeterred.

While chowing down on fries, Black directs anyone interested to use the link in his bio that explains how anyone can easily use a simple URL to instantly submit a fake report, which can be done over and over simply by refreshing the web page with the snitch form. As far as we can tell, he does not worship at any kind of child sacrifice alter.
