Posing for the latest issue of TIME magazine, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looked like a unified front, a couple comfortable with each other and with sharing the spotlight. Meghan appears radiant and peaceful while Harry puts an almost protective hand on her shoulder. It’s very lovely — and conservatives are deeply threatened by it.

In particular, Candace Owens and Matt Walsh were offended by the positioning in the photo and took to Twitter to write about how Harry had basically been cucked and the whole thing was super icky.

“I honestly cannot,” Owens said. “The live emasculation of Prince Harry continues. I would never want my husband to be embarrassed like this in front of the world. Just so pathetic.”
Walsh talked about how Harry was a beta male, or whatever. Are people really still using that term?
Another account featured an image of the TIME cover with the caption: “Pussy front and center. Cock fading into the background. This is what they want.”
Look, even if the focus is on Markle, it’s not like Prince Harry is stuffed in a bush. And also? This pose is so much a part of couples’ photography. Everyone in a relationship, go look through your photos. Dudes, if you’re slightly positioned behind your wife with your hand on her shoulder? Emasculated! Shame!

Folks on Twitter thought Owens’ was trolling and emphasized how her commentary pushed a patriarchal agenda where women are supposed to just fade into the background.
