Representative Dan Crenshaw may finally be reaching the “find out” portion of his support for Donald Trump and catering to those who believe in a massive conspiracy that stole the election from the former president with voting machines that weren’t used in the states that were accused of fraud. At an Illinois GOP fundraising dinner on Wednesday, the Republican was heckled after refusing to voice support for what has been dubbed the “big lie” by Democrats, telling the crowd of Trump fans to “move on” and rejecting the idea that the 2020 election could be overturned.

Part of his answer was caught on video by U.S. Senate candidate Bobby Piton, fellow Republican and heckler of Crenshaw.

“During the Q & A session with RINO Crenshaw, Col. Larry Kaifesh asked Crenshaw if he believed in election integrity, and if he thought the election was rigged,” wrote the Piton campaign. “Crenshaw stunned the crowd (doubling down on the same democrat appeasing RINO Rep. Liz Cheney and RINO Rep Adam Kinzinger talking points) denying the election fraud.”

The clip begins as Crenshaw is in the process of answering Kaifesh’s question, seeming to claim that there are “problems” with the election results in certain states but at the same time expressing that he doesn’t think the minor discrepancies found, even if corrected, would change the final results.

“There’s certain states with problems, but don’t kid yourself into believing that’s why we lost,” Crenshaw said. “It’s not. It’s not.”

“You’re wrong,” Piton calls out.

“I’m not wrong,” Crenshaw responds.

“Yes you are. I have plenty of proof! I have proof in Arizona, Pennsylvania…” Piton claims. He attempts to argue that whatever supposed “audit” they did in one county is going to flip the election, but Crenshaw lays out just how tall that order is.

“It’s just something you have to accept,” he said. “Is there a lot of voter fraud? Yeah, there probably is. Enough that Trump won? No, absolutely not. Absolutely not. Five different states? Hundreds of thousands of votes? You’re kidding yourself.”

At this point, someone yells out “next question” and the video ends.

Meanwhile, everyone to the left of U.S. Republicans are enjoying watching the party fracture from infighting over one of the conspiracy beasts they created after helping Trump get elected president in the first place. This is far from the first time far-right Republicans have attacked their not-as-far-right counterparts for accepting the reality of the 2020 election.

With the dates of the supposedly shocking revelations that will change everything getting repeatedly pushed back or ending up being nothing more than your average doomsday cult, this will definitely not be the last, either.

“TEXAS WAKE UP! You have serious work in store to unseat this dishonest and cocky Democrat operative Rep. Crenshaw,” said the Piton campaign in their YouTube post.
