A night out at a California restaurant took an unexpected turn when one customer repeatedly tried to fight the waitstaff and went on an extended rant that had all eyes in the restaurant on her.

Video captured of the incident picks up when a woman, who appears intoxicated, was already in the midst of harassing an employee at Market Broiler in Huntington Beach, California. It’s unclear what the impetus to the altercation was, but the customer, who is white, insists that the other woman, who is not, doesn’t “know what it feels like to be discriminated against.”
The employee walks away in an attempt to disengage, but the drunk lady follows, screeching, and lays hands on her. A male employee intervenes, but our latest viral Karen eventually gets free and starts throwing things at the other woman as she tries to do her job.
The entire restaurant is focused on the altercation at this point, as the woman continues to hone in on the hostess, telling her that she doesn’t “f—king deserve” her job.

“I pay to be here. I pay to have food, b*tch,” she claims. “You don’t.”
Things take a sudden pandemic-oriented turn as she then demands to know whether the employee is vaccinated. She insists that she has to see her vaccination card, even as a customer off-screen incorrectly shouts at her that it would be a HIPAA violation.
This back-and-forth goes on for a while until the woman then grabs a bottle of cleaning spray from the host stand and starts spraying the employee in the face with it, prompting other employees to intervene. She finally gets so aggressive that a whole group of workers come between her and the subject of her ire, trying to force the woman out the door as she continues to insist she never hit anyone.
But she skirts around them and goes deeper into the restaurant, still yelling about masks.
“Look at everybody!” she demands, pointing at every single server surrounding her and wearing a mask, even though she herself is maskless. “I want to know! Why aren’t we protected?”
As a different server tries to get it across to the woman, yet again, that she needs to leave, the drunk woman yells “I don’t need a mask; I’m vaccinated, b*tch” before body slamming her.
The altercation escalates briefly before a customer attempts to talk to the woman down, and eventually gets her to leave the space.
Social media sleuths already believe they’ve identified the woman, thanks to an arrest log that lists a resident of Costa Mesa being taken in for assault and battery in Huntington Beach and photos from social media that look to be of the same woman. However, her identity has not yet been verified.

Instagram commenters who say they were present at the time of the altercation, however, confirm that police showed up as the woman was trying to get into her car to leave and hauled her away even as she resisted arrest.
