Calling all English majors: we need a word for what happens when Chad (aka a “Karen” male counterpart) ages into this guy. And yes, by “this guy,” we mean a late-middle-aged man who will hit someone’s car with his in order to bully them. What do we call this guy? Dude Karen, Sr.? Granddaddy Chad? It’s important because we need to know what to put on his traffic citations.

At least, we hope he has some kind of citation coming his way.

TikTokker @juicyy_boottyy, whose IRL name is Shelby Gale, recently uploaded a video of a man harassing her in the streets of Tacoma, Washington—right after he deliberately drove his silver sedan into the back of her little blue Ford Fusion.
“How is it OK to hit my vehicle to get me to move? How is that OK?” Gale asks the man, who is already harassing her. “There’s a whole street. You don’t have to park right here!”
The man continues insisting that she move.
“That’s not on me,” Gale says. “I don’t have to move. And you don’t get to hit me!”
“Well, it would be nice if you did,” the man snaps.
“That’s great!” Gale responds. “But I’m not obligated to do that.”
“Well, nobody’s obligated to do a Nice Thing,” the man says, and there’s definitely something slimy in his tone as he turns the gaslight up.
“And nobody’s obligated to hit my car because I won’t move out of your way!” Gale retorts.

“Dad, Dad!” a female voice calls out, and at this point, it becomes evident that the man is accompanied by three other people. Two of them, who appear to be his wife and daughter, get out of the car. The young man seated in the driver’s seat remains inside the car for the duration of the video.
“So you’re PUNISHING him for touching your car?!” the man continues, ignoring his wife and daughter. The creep factor is strong with this one.
“He hit my car, sir,” Gale tells the man harassing her. “That’s not me punishing anybody. You don’t get to play bumper cars to get what you want! You don’t get to physically hit my car.”
The man’s daughter tries to get in between them and convince her father to step away, but the father ignores and dismisses her.
“Young lady, no, you’re wrong. He didn’t hit your car,” the wife says loudly, approaching the two of them. The man physically pushes his wife away, keeping her behind him, then turns his back on her dismissively.
“So you’re punishing him. You like to punish,” he insists to Gale.
“That’s not the point!” Gale responds. “In what world is that an acceptable response? Do you just shove people out of the way when you’re in line and they don’t move?!”
“We didn’t hit your car,” the man’s wife yells at her from the sidewalk.
“Ma’am, you moved me twice. I have a dash-cam and it’s recording back here. I saw you hit my car, I felt my vehicle move,” Gale says. At this point, the young man throws the silver sedan into reverse and quickly backs away. The rest of the family gets into the car and leaves.
“You’re full of s—t!” the wife yells.

“I’m full of s—t because you hit my car? In what world is it acceptable to play bumper cars with real vehicles?” Gale asks.
The man’s daughter approaches again as he continues to harass Gale, and says that Gale is unreasonable. She seems to be gesturing that they should leave. The man, however, ignores his daughter and continues harassing Gale.
“This is all on camera, just so you know,” Gale tells him. He makes an angry gesture with his arms towards her, then turns to leave.
TikTokkers were quick to point out that this was a hit-and-run, and urged Gale to contact police. (She responded that she had.)

Some pointed out that the family’s entitlement and general grossness merited a call to the cops, regardless of the car’s physical damage (or lack thereof).

A few people even found some humor and a tiny silver lining in the whole situation. And even Shelby Gale herself, despite all the stress, appreciated it.
