There are a shocking number of people out there who think they’re the parking police, even though they haven’t even been deputized. A mom named Tricia Proefrock encountered one of these people while visiting Disney World with her 12-year-old son, Mason, who Insider reports has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a type of epilepsy that makes mobility very challenging.

The two had come to visit Magic Kingdom Park from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which she said is “the highlight of both of our lives.” And someone came along to cast a shadow.

When Proefrock arrived at the park, she was instructed by park employees to park across two spots because the disability spots with ramp access were taken, as Mason is in a wheelchair and that’s the only way to get him in and out of their vehicle.

“When the side of the lot with ramp accesses are full, the only remaining spots have no ramp access,” she explained. “Every single time out of dozens of trips, the cast members instruct me to take two spots, by parking directly on the white line. This gives me room to wheel my son out of the vehicle.”

She also hung her parking placard on her rearview mirror and told Insider that there were still a number of handicapped spots available, just not the ramp access one. And when she came back, she was met with this:

The fake parking violation note Proefrock found is incredibly rude! And it also seems like something that someone was just carrying around to stick on the windshields of cars whose parking they don’t approve of. From the language, you can tell they think they’re being cute. Is this the work of the most insufferable person on the planet?

It reads:

“This is not a ticket, but if it were within my power, you would receive two.”

“Because of your Bull Headed, inconsiderate, feeble attempt at parking, you have taken enough room for a 20 mule team, 2 elephants, 1 goat, and a safari of pygmies from the African interior.”

“The reason for giving you this is so that in the future you may think of someone else, other than yourself. Besides, I don’t like domineering, egotistical or simple-minded drivers and you probably fit into one of these categories.”

“May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.”

I think they might be the worst. Just my two cents.

Proefrock decided to share her story, because receiving the note really ruined her day with her son, and she was self-conscious about how she had to park, to begin with. But she realizes not everyone understands accessibility—or minding their own business.

“So, if you see a car taking two spots, maybe instead of wishing us a broken transmission, you can try to think about WHY a wheelchair accessible van in a medical parking section might need 2 spots,” she concluded.
