Once-upon-a-time “America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani recently garnered a bit of attention for his behavior at New York’s JFK Airport. Sitting in Delta Airlines’ Delta One Lounge, Giuliani ordered brownies, then whipped out an electric appliance and gave himself a dry shave over the plate of food. https://ift.tt/3Dr1GtQ Other diners nearby quickly lost their appetites—and took to social media to say so. Nicholas Weiss (Instagram handle: @nicholas_jpw) posted video of the incident that caught the attention of actor Michael Rapaport, who then re-shared it publicly, causing the clip to go viral. Initial reactions on social media were mocking, but bewildered. The lounge bathroom, containing sinks and mirrors and even showers—where no food was being served!—was only a few feet away from Giuliani’s table. But it’s a perplexing choice under any conditions for a grown man to grind away at his five o’clock shadow among other dining patrons in the middle of a restaurant. 
Giuliani’s remarkably gross antics led social media users and late-night TV celebrities to reminisce about some of his other recent foibles and faux pas, from audibly breaking wind at a voter fraud hearing to giving a press conference while an unidentified black unguent (Probably hair dye? Right? One hopes…) dripped down his face on national television—to, of course, the presidential event he hosted in the Four Seasons Total Landscaping parking lot, with Fantasy Island Adult Bookstore providing a truly inimitable backdrop. 
And, of course, that led to people commenting on Giuliani’s truly disgraceful life choices that won’t be so easily lived down—refusing to wear a mask and catching himself a whopping case of COVID-19, for example. Ultimately, folx concluded that while disturbing and regrettable, Giuliani’s dinnertime self-grooming was far from the worst thing he’s ever done. 
Which begs the question: what IS the worst thing he’s ever done? Allegedly attempting to seduce an actress that he thought was fifteen years old? Helping incite the riot that disrupted the peaceful transition of presidential power on January 6, 2021? Or maybe it’s something we don’t even know about! Maybe he’s just as full of surprises as he is of stubble. Or, maybe just full of something else that starts with “s.” 
Either way, next time Giuliani has dinner guests, they may be a bit wary of any “special seasonings” in the “family recipe.” And maybe skip the dessert, if it’s brownies.
