The way bigots see anyone else getting a tiny sliver of the pie as oppression against them, personally, is one of those things that’s so truly outrageous that the only thing you can do is laugh. And it doesn’t hurt that they always manage to sound absolutely ridiculous when they spell their own intolerance out so clearly.

A woman who goes by the name Raven Constantine (@Artraven) on what looks to be Gab, the Facebook knockoff for the alt-right, put the absurdity of such bigotry on full display when she launched a tirade against Tide laundry detergent that went viral.

Constantine is so used to seeing commercials that cater to her — a “white woman with white husband and white children” — that she apparently found seeing an advertisement featuring a white same-sex couple and their two Black children threatening.

“After watching your disgusting commercial with the white lesbian couple and their two black kids, I feel it’s safe to say you just pushed me to [sic] far,” she wrote in an open letter of sorts to the detergent company. “Your product doesn’t represent me and my family so here’s where we part ways.”

She complained that the company “clearly cares so little about detergent and more about politics and the genocide of my race,” and insisted that the commercial should have spent more time talking about the detergent itself — despite the fact that, of course, it actually did.

“Thank you, but no thank you,” Constantine concluded. “Me & my families will deterge elsewhere.”

From start to finish, the post is one of those things that’s so insane you have to wonder if we’re all being trolled — but at the same time, there are far too many people who actually think these thoughts and say (or type) them to the world.

So, taking it at face value, the internet had plenty of thoughts for Constantine and her belief that showing other types of families besides what specifically represents her on TV is somehow white genocide.
