One of the things that the United States of America is known for, aside from Hollywood, is the fact that’s it’s so difficult to find any single subject that its residents can agree on, plagued by sharp divides on everything from healthcare to the economy to whether it’s a good idea to take horse dewormer without medical advice. However, the cast of the upcoming new live-action Cinderella film pulled off a near miracle by uniting the nation under the banner of “this weird costumed flash mob in the middle of the street was a terrible idea.”

Over the weekend, actors Camilla Cabello, James Corden, Billy Porter, and Idina Menzel dressed up in some Cinderella costumes to dance and sing in front of baffled commuters in LA to Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud.”

The performance of James Corden as one of the mice was considered particularly horrifying as few appreciated his rather graphic hip trusting, resulting in calls for him to be deported back to the U.K. Others have suggested that the entire mob be charged with offenses ranging from trespassing to anything that would result in the death penalty, especially considering the fact that we are still in the middle of a pandemic and nobody has time for this crap right now.

Many also imagined that commuters on their way to work would likely not have appreciated being made late to work by a gaggle of ridiculous celebrities humping their cars. Some even suggested actions to correct this problem that would be real felonies.

Jokes from left-wingers, right-wingers, and everyone in between abound, including every still from every movie in which someone was annoyed at the wheel of a vehicle. Here is our collection of some of the best reactions:
