As Strange once tweeted over something totally unrelated: “We have found ground zero of the dumbest s—t ever said.” And, today, it’s actually true.

Emerald Robinson, White House Press Correspondent for Newsmax, tweeted an unfounded warning to all “dear Christians” that there is a bioluminescent marker in the COVID-19 vaccine called “luciferase,” which the government wants to use in order to track them.

She also recommended that her followers read the book of Revelation to see “how this ends” in an apparent reference to the “mark of the beast.”
Two quick notes. First of all, the COVID vaccines do not contain luciferase. Secondly, luciferase cannot be used to “track” you.
But, in an era when people believed Donald Trump that they could inject themselves with cleaning products or rubbing alcohol to cure COVID-19, you know there are some people out there that will believe her.

And some good people actually broke down the science for us, which was helpful:
And others reminded the conspiracy theorists of the harsh reality that they’re, well, just not that interesting. And most of them already carry tracking devices in their pockets.
