An insane Facebook post making the rounds is giving new meaning to the idea of the evil stepparent.

A Redditor screenshotted the post they say was written by their stepfather and reveals that he and his wife intend to use their younger children still living in the home for blood transfusions to stay young.
“The most promising longevity anti-aging findings thus far have come from Young Blood infusions,” father of the year writes. “When the blood of the young in rodents and lower mammals is transfused into an elder of the species not only does aging slow, but actually reverses.”
Research has been ongoing into the idea of transfusing young people’s blood into the bodies of older humans, but the science hasn’t come to any conclusions about whether there are any real benefits. And the FDA actually issued a warning against people taking it upon themselves to engage in this attempt at rejuvenation back in 2019.

While this Facebook dad does acknowledge that studies are inconclusive thus far, he says he thought he “should at least start the conversation” with the kids, who he referred to as “bloodbags.”
“I didn’t outright say it, but the implication was that our future relationship might need to become a little more transactional in nature,” he wrote. “Put simply; blood = cash. You want something, need something or just wanna go on a crazy bender then Dad can help.”
He added that “it’ll all be very business-like,” meaning a metaphorical “trust into which blood is deposited and cash or praise and affection if preferred can be withdrawn.”
“These are exciting times we live in,” he wrote.

It feels like this should go without saying, but using your children for blood is generally a bad idea. If you need a life-saving transfusion, that’s one thing, but gradually siphoning plasma from their growing bodies with the hope of staying forever young sounds like something straight out of a horror movie.
And posting the idea to Facebook as if it’s totally normal is particularly next level.
“This guy reminds me of the families that had another child so that they could use them as a match to save the life of an older child,” u/wind-river7 said. “Nothing like being treated like a commodity.”

“This guy will die alone in a one fresh diaper a day facility, all in a quest to try to be immortal by sucking the life out of his children,” suggested u/Persistent_Parkie.
Another Redditor asked if it was weird that they thought “the least insane part is [him] thinking that he can stay young with children blood.”
“The most insane thing is this leach thinks that people aren’t gonna think he’s a f—king monster for posting this, referring to his kids [as] ‘blood bags,’ and says that he pays for it with affection, like the internet isn’t gonna see [him] as one of the most sociopathic c—ts on the planet,” they continued.
Vampires may be coming back into trend, but not like this.
