Lady Gaga Trolls Trump Campaign For Trying To Spin Her Support Of Biden As A Bad Thing

Famed singer and songwriter Lady Gaga is not taking attacks by Republicans on the Biden Campaign using her name lying down, tweeting out a cheeky video in response mocking Donald Trump and his campaign managers for letting her live in their heads “rent-free.”

“Heeeey Donald…” reads the text she placed over a Trump campaign statement on her support of Biden. “#WINNING (also what is a fracking?) keep your jobs PA…”

Gaga’s taunting was in response to “Biden campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga,” as Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh put it. Fracking has become a contentious topic during the battle between Biden and Trump, with the latter accusing his rival of supporting a total ban on this method of extracting oil in spite of Biden stating repeatedly that he does not.

“Nothing exposes Biden’s disdain for the forgotten working men & women of PA like campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga,” wrote Murtaugh. “This desperate effort to drum up enthusiasm is actually a sharp stick in the eye for 600,000 Pennsylvanians who work in the fracking industry.”

Nobody can seem to figure out where the accusation about Lady Gaga and fracking came from, as statements from her on the topic seem to be impossible to find. This explains her exaggerated “what is a fracking” joke.

While the progressive end of the Democratic party generally supports a fracking ban, siding with the vast majority of climate scientists who believe we need to break ourselves of oil dependency very soon, Biden has refused to commit to this. Regardless, Trump himself tweeted about the singer repeating the same falsehoods Monday morning.

Just learned that Sleepy Joe Biden is campaigning in Pennsylvania with Lady Gaga, a proud member of “Artists Against Fracking.” This is more proof that he would ban Fracking and skyrocket your energy prices…

Lady Gaga has been a supporter of Democrats for years now, supporting Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016. She also worked with Joe Biden when he was vice president under Barack Obama to combat the problem of sexual assault on college campuses. Though they might not agree on the subject of fracking, Gaga once referred to Biden as a “good friend.”

Although the Trump campaign may not like it, plenty of Gaga fans and Democrats definitely do.
