Every U.S. president since Herbert Hoover has gotten his own presidential library to store records of everything that happened during his term as required by the National Archives and Records Administration. Though it doesn’t seem entirely appropriate, by law there must be one for Donald Trump, as well. After all, we definitely want to keep records of what he did during his one-term presidency.

Traditionally, the outgoing president can provide some input as to the look and location of his library. Barack Obama’s library is being built in Chicago, where he studied and practiced law before becoming an Illinois senator.
