A video showing a 3rd grade school assignment about the 2020 election while a mom and OAN fan grills some poor teacher about it declaring Joe Biden the winner is rapidly going viral as people cringe in sympathy for the instructor. In the video, a woman can be heard complaining because there is still “litigation” in several states that the kids were instructed to color in blue, just like they are on most major news networks.

The mom claims that her son, Anthony, became confused because the election map from school didn’t look like the one they were showing on Donald Trump’s new favorite “news” network.

“He told me you went up there and put up a map,” says the mom in what sounds like a recording. “I went and put up a map, I didn’t go to Google. I went to the National Archives and then I also went to OAN and it had exactly what he and I had been talking about, and he was [unintelligible] ‘I don’t understand, why is this not what she showed me?'”
That is a good question for Anthony to ask, he just needs to ask a better source. The One America News Network is considered to be so far to the right that it makes Fox News seem fair and balanced, to the point that Donald Trump has ditched Fox for OAN because they suck up to him better.

The unidentified mom in the video seems unsatisfied by the answer of the school teacher, whose voice seems to be shaking as she promises to talk to Anthony about the finer points of U.S. presidential elections. Her long pause before saying this and the way her voice sounds makes us wonder what was said before the video began.
Regardless, the OAN mom wants the entire 3rd grade class to have it explained to them that the election results won’t be official until the entire complex process is finalized on December 14, same as every year. Somehow this only became an issue in the year that Trump lost, although many commenters agree that it might do the kids good to understand that the results are not yet set in stone.

What they should also know is that mathematically speaking, the chances of Donald Trump finding a way to win this election are so low that all the experts not dedicated to pandering to him have called it for Biden.
If things had gone the other way, much like they did in 2016, few seem to think that this mom would have complained about a school assignment prematurely declaring Trump the winner. In fact, commenters might have been a lot more sympathetic for the mom if she hadn’t brought up getting her election news with OAN.

“The National Archive AND OAN. I guess it’s like watching Citizen Kane and following it up with Bikini Car Wash,” wrote Jeremy Pepples.
Others, however, just feel sorry for the teacher and little Anthony.
“These people are really sick and my heart aches for the children who have to grow up and get corrupted by stupid parents,” wrote Tiffany. “Also, as it’s been said, teachers don’t get paid enough to have to deal with this nonsense. I don’t know how she managed not to go off completely.”
