Lara Trump got a reality check from none other than Fox News on the possibility of Donald getting another four years as president immediately after his first term. Host Martha MacCallum asked Lara during an interview about her father-in-law’s future plans and pushed back when she said she expects him to win the election he clearly lost.

“I still think that the president will get four more years in office,” said Lara. “I think it will be the next four years because this thing is far from over.”

MacCallum interrupted Lara to press her for any details on why she could possibly think that Donald could pull off a win at this point.
“Why? You just had certifications today in Arizona, in Georgia, in Wisconsin. You heard Geraldo [Rivera] moments ago say that it’s time to accept the outcome. What are you seeing or hearing out there that he is not?”
Lara Trump dismissed the election certifications as “procedural steps” and claimed that the Trump campaign still has “plenty of time” before the Electoral College votes on December 14. In reality, of course, they only have two weeks after nearly a month of lost legal battles over their unproven claims of mass voter fraud.

Fox News seems to be getting off the Trump train after years of kissing up to him and conducting breathtakingly awkward call-in interviews. After being the first major network to call Arizona for Biden, the outgoing president has since turned on Fox News, calling for his followers to watch OANN or Newsmax instead.

Even Trump fan and frequent Fox News guest Geraldo Rivera said that the election is essentially over to MacCallum just before the Lara Trump interview. Rivera expressed concern that the Trump campaign’s continuing attacks on the U.S. voting system could hurt Republican turnout for the tight senate runoff races in Georgia.
“I think that the president is on the wrong course here,” Rivera said. “I think he’s gotta take a real gut check between now and Saturday, with all due respect, and, you know, I love the guy, but enough is enough now.”

Donald is scheduled to travel to Georgia on Saturday to assist in the campaigns for candidates Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.
