Donald Trump Literally Calls For The Election To Be Overturned

Remember when Donald Trump was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of justice and every Republican in the U.S. called it an attempt by the Democrats to overturn the 2016 election? That senate trial was this year. Yes, really.

Anyway, now that Trump is actually trying to overturn an election, not just remove Biden so that Vice President-elect Kamala Harris can take over, the same Republicans are predictably quiet, if not totally on board. As Trump’s options are smacked down one by one, even by the Supreme Court he was able to stack with ultra-conservative justices, he now appears to be dropping all pretense and calling for the election to “#OVERTURN” for him.

Trump seems to be rather upset about the Supreme Court kicking back an attempt to challenge the Pennsylvania election results without even commenting on why. Before his hashtag overturn tweet, he claimed that it “wasn’t my case” and that there’s a different one heading to the court, accusing the actual Supreme Court blog of incorrectly reporting what happened.

He then posted several more tweets, many of which were tagged by Twitter with the usual warning, and some making further claims about another suit coming out of Texas that will definitely fix all of his problems. In one, he said that “we” will be “INTERVENING” in that case, but it’s unclear what that even means.

Not long after the “#OVERTURN” tweet, he again posted suggesting the election be overturned because the Democrats cheated.

The point is that Trump is definitely not mad, and everything will be great for him, and this new case from Texas will definitely not be another loss just like the dozens of other election suits coming out of the Trump campaign that have lost before it.

Meanwhile, a number of legal experts as well as people capable of doing a Google search are just straight up posting the definition of sedition.
