“Star Witness” Melissa Carone Says She Wasn’t Drunk During Voter Fraud Hearings

Rudy Giuliani’s “star witness” in the Michigan voter fraud hearing is milking her 15 minutes of fame for all its worth, now responding to accusations that she was drunk while facing the Michigan House Oversight Committee.

Melissa Carone became a viral sensation after her insane testimony to Michigan lawmakers last week, in which she constantly interrupted them, made outlandish and vague claims about fraud at a ballot counting center, and had to be shushed by Giuliani himself at one point.

As the videos circulated online, viewers repeatedly posed two questions: Who will play her on SNL, and was she drunk?

So a Judge finds Melissa Carone not credible. The GOP puts her up as their star witness. She’s slurring her words, fully on a good drunk & her hair looks like Tippi Hedrens in The Birds. The GOP has reached an all-time low, then, Rudy farts. It gets more bizarre everyday.

Cecily Strong ultimately took over with a completely flawless impersonation of Carone on Saturday — and the skit also insinuated the “witness” was drunk during her testimony.

Carone, however, has now come forward to insist that she was not.

In a short interview with Inside Edition, she told Steven Fabian that she “wasn’t drunk.”

“I would swear under oath that I wasn’t drunk,” Carone insisted. “That’s my personality.”

In the same interview, Carone also said that she wasn’t “concerned at all” after being in such close contact with Giuliani and fellow Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis, both of whom have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent days. 

None of the three wore masks during the Michigan testimony, and everyone who was in contact with Giuliani for more than 15 minutes has been ordered to self-quarantine by Ingham County officials.

Carone, however, is refusing to do that.

“I would take it seriously if it came from Trump, because Trump cares about American lives,” she told The Washington Post. She added that she would also listen to One American News Network or Newsmax, far right networks that still pander to the outgoing president.

She also told SarahPalin.com that the “Obamas funded that Wuhan lab to make COVID” as part of a longterm plan to “cheat” Trump out of his win. (And because it always bears repeating: Trump lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden and almost all of his court cases claiming fraud have been thrown out so far.)

Since her appearance in Michigan, it has also been revealed that Carone recently finished serving probation for “disorderly conduct” after being accused of emailing her fiance’s ex-wife sexually explicit videos.
