A video of Donald Trump abruptly leaving the Oval Office after awarding the Medal of Freedom to wrestling legend Dan Gable went viral as people laughed at Gable’s confused shrug. While the applause is still dying down, a reporter can be heard trying to ask a question about Biden’s upcoming inauguration, to which Trump says “thank you very much” and then walks right out the door.

Gable can only shrug and say “gone” with his large family in the background.

Trump first trotted out Gable at a campaign rally in Iowa in a failed attempt to win enough voters to take the state. That was back when Donald was a happier man.
Now that Trump appears to accept that he at least will not have two consecutive terms in office, he seemed as bored at the medal ceremony as the squirmy children behind him.

Some have speculated that Trump might have had very important presidential things to do like overturning an election, but Dan Gable himself admitted in a Fox News interview that the president was simply over it because it wasn’t about him.
“I think Donald Trump really respects me. He’s always been humbled in front of me. He’s never made me mad,” said Gable to Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade” “He might’ve walked out of the press conference yesterday a little bit perturbed with a couple newspaper people but I was having a great time.”
Even Kilmeade seemed to have a hard time believing that Gable was happy with how the award ceremony played out. “He left you in the office by yourself with your family!” said the host.

“That’s okay, he didn’t like what was going on,” said Gable. “He said it was about me, and it wasn’t about him, so ‘I’m out of here.'”
Kilmeade then has to switch to asking to see the medal so everybody can witness how not mad Gable is.
The video of Trump’s walkout has been viewed over 4.3 million times since Monday as people laugh over what has come to be a perfect representation of the man’s presidency. This isn’t the first time Trump has wandered off from an important event, leaving people unsure of what to do next.

The only thing left to do now is dub the Curb Your Enthusiasm music over it, which of course has already been done.
