Anti-maskers still completely fail to grasp that their “rights” don’t actually involve doing whatever they want in privately owned businesses, and it’s going to be a pretty embarrassing chapter in the annals of history for them.

Video circulating Twitter shows that recently, a parade of anti-maskers decided to march through both Walmart and Target in Arizona, singing “We’re Not Gonna Take It” while waving around confusing signs and screaming about “free country” and “Jesus Christ.”

Bystanders at both locations managed to capture footage of these screeching “patriots,” and the groups are identifiable as being on in the same due to some of their flags, including one that is being worn like a cape. The signs also help, especially one large one at the front that reads “SAVING FACE” and another calling out “Masks #666.”
“This is America!” one man shouts as they pass by the Target food counter. “Woo!”

It’s not immediately clear whether the anti-maskers were told to leave the stores for causing a disruption, or if they were allowed to spread their germs and lunacy around before marching back out the door when they were ready.
The videos drew out the folks on the internet who still just don’t get it either.
“Why are people worrying about what other people are doing with their lives?” asked @AquarionSol. “If you believe masks work then you’re safe. They know the risk they are taking and they are okay with not wearing a mask.”
That’s perfectly fine logic if you’re bungee jumping or rock climbing, but it’s entirely useless if you’re dealing with an infectious disease that easily spreads among the population. Masks are most effective if everyone is wearing them, and not everyone has the ability to stay home all the time while some selfish jerks parade around like they own the world and everything in it.
It’s December. We shouldn’t still have to be explaining this to people.

Others were more understandably annoyed with the carelessness on display here.

No matter how many more months we think we have of dealing with this virus, we’ll have to at least double that thanks to people like these retail protestors. That’s freedom!! I guess.
