While much of Twitter celebrated the apparent Democratic victories in Georgia’s runoff election for both its U.S. Senate seats on Tuesday, conservative personality Tomi Lahren had a Twitter meltdown over it.

It started just after 9 pm ET when she snarked, “I wonder when the water main is gonna burst in Georgia,” referring to a pipe bursting at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, which conspiracy theorists have tied to an alleged spike of votes for Biden in the election tallying.

That tweet was met with a riposte from anti-Trump activist Scott Dworkin several hours later when Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff’s apparent victories were beginning to crystallize. Dworkin said, “If you did work instead of writing snarky tweets built around unhinged debunked conspiracy theories maybe you would’ve won. But you lost.”

But Lahren was just getting started. She followed on her musing about the water main by retweeting Eric Trump, by saying, “Amen and right there with ya” to Trump’s assertion that “I will personally work to defeat every single Republican Senator / Congressman who doesn’t stand up against this fraud – they will be primaried in their next election and they will lose.”
(Trump’s tweet is adorned with the “This claim about election fraud is disputed” tag from Twitter.)

She then got her own “This claim about election fraud is disputed” tag with a pair of tweets.
She first responded to the vote count by saying, “Democrats scrounging up votes from mystical places again,” perhaps referring to Democratic strongholds in DeKalb and Cobb Counties.

Before noting: “The steal is in the making in Georgia. Wait for it.”
Then, Lahren retweeted White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany musing on why “they” were “stopping the vote count in Democrat Chatham County.”

The allegation of “stopping the vote count” was refuted by a Georgia voting official even before McEnany’s tweet.
Then, Lahren made some bold, sweeping declarations about what the Georgia election meant. She asserted. “Only an idiot or a nonexistent voter would vote to give up their own freedom and submit to the Democrat’s control agenda.”

She then declared, “Bout to get real socialist up in here. I hope you Democrats enjoy control, tyranny, big government and infringements as much as you thought you would. Freedom, so overrated right….”

That ended the night’s tweetstorm, but Lahren was back on the horse again the next morning, asserting, “Luckily patriots were made for this. If the Left thinks they’ve won, they’ve silenced us, they’ve taken this country…they’ve got another thing coming. This was the wake up call we needed and we will never allow this to happen again.”
The many responses this garnered included someone retweeting one of Lahren’s past tweets, which stated, “If you don’t like this country there about 200 others to choose from. Pick one and leave.”
