It’s not a good day for the MAGA crowd. After Raphael Warnock was declared the winner of one of the runoff races in Georgia, it now looks like Jon Ossoff is also pulling ahead of his opponent, which will give Democrats control of the Senate with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tiebreaker.

And it will be like that, because in spite of all the marches, fighting with police, and big, puffy words from Donald Trump, there is nothing they can do now but delay the inevitable for a few hours.

Congress is currently in the process of counting the Electoral College votes and the state of Arizona was the first to object. However, this will amount to nothing as Trump-supporting Republicans do not have nearly the votes needed to turn the objection into anything useful.

It appears that Trump supporters everywhere had thought that today was surely the day when the outgoing president would whip out his secret plan to save the day for himself, but they’re beginning to realize that there is no plan.
In his big Wednesday speech, Donald Trump continued to ramble on as usual about things like toilet flushing regulations and how mean people have been to him.

As it dawns on his supporters that he’s not going to save democracy like he said he would, they’re starting to leave him behind. In D.C., thousands of right-wing protesters are attempting to storm the Capitol and brawling with police.
