After weeks of uncertainty on the subject, Donald Trump reportedly did decide to follow one of the traditions for the outgoing president and leave a note in the Oval Office for his successor, Joe Biden. Donald and Melania generally snubbed the incoming family, refusing to meet with them and give them a tour of the White House like every other first couple has for the past 150 years.

This comes as no surprise to anyone who has paid attention for the past four years. Trump has flouted many presidential traditions and wasn’t exactly gracious in conceding to Biden even after the courts resoundingly rejected his attempts to overturn the results. In fact, he broke tradition by never actually giving a concession speech, but everyone’s just relieved he voluntarily left the White House.

However, that relief hasn’t stopped people from making jokes about what Trump, being the petty, petty man he is, might have put in the note he left to Biden. When not pulling moments from pop culture, many imagine that the note was likely written in Sharpie or crayon, and is probably rather brief.
