Video of a serious Donald Trump fan crying and begging the ex-president to “save us” is going viral online as people cringe, laugh, and maybe even feel sorry for a woman who seems to honestly believe that the country is now doomed. It’s unclear where the video was originally uploaded, but it made its way to the Reddit “Public Freakout” forum before being removed by moderators.

However, it still managed to end up on Twitter, where it’s already received close to one million views.

“President Trump, if you see this, please save us,” says the crying woman. “I don’t even see our American flag anymore. Biden’s talking with some kind of crazy flag.”
It’s unclear what flag the upset woman is speaking of. The White House was decorated with several American flags during the inauguration event, as well as other red, white, and blue adornments. Maybe she thought Lady Gaga’s dress was a flag?

“This is America, this is our land,” she continues. “Please, President Trump, please, please, I hope you have a plan. God, please save us. Save us from the devil! Y’all I’m about to have a panic attack. This is our country!”
Trump fans and QAnon believers are clearly having a very rough day as promises from both the former president and people claiming they know all about the deep state plots or whatever are revealed to have been lies. Some are calling for empathy and pity for people like the woman in this video, saying that Trump and those responsible for the QAnon conspiracy theory did “real psychological damage” to those who believed.
Of course, others have noted that they themselves were mocked by Trump supporters for having panic attacks on his Inauguration Day four years ago and have been harassed and threatened by them ever since. This can make empathy a little trickier, to say the least.

It can be quite emotionally painful to have the reality you constructed pulled out from under you and be forced to face reality. People like the woman in the above video may need to seek therapy in order to get unconditional sympathy. Thankfully, the current administration seems more open to the idea of low-cost or even free health care, including mental health care.
