As she promised, QAnon-friendly Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on Thursday. She announced it via Twitter, with a press release that also lumps the president’s son, Hunter Biden, into the accusations.

She also went on Twitter with a very short video clip, saying, “We’ll see how this goes.”
That, predictably, got roasted in a variety of ways. Ashley Feinberg noted, “If you thought the video would tell you more, buddy, I’ve got some bad news for you.”

Jake Sherman asserted “I can tell you how this will go,” predicting, “The House will table it.”
Zach Goldman observed, “‘We’ll see how this goes; is something I only say immediately after making decisions I haven’t thought about,” including “signing up for rugby in college,” “Flying Spirit” and “going to Taco Bell” with a friend.

Scott Dworkin responded by showing MTG’s affection for conspiracy theories, and Brittany Trambauer-Smith, not above the occasional bit of Hamilton cosplay, announced, “I’ll be running against her and I’ll need all the help I can get!!! She has to go for the sake of our democracy.”

Comedian Jim Gaffigan opined, “I realize the crazy conspiracy theorists make great podcast guests, but can we not have them in the US government? It kind of backfired like two weeks ago.”
Cardi B weighed in, asking, “How they trying to impeach Biden already? He hasn’t even taken a sh—t at the White House yet. This just shows me how delusional and dumb people can be.”

There were some fans, though, including Sebastian Gorka, who served as Deputy Assistant to the President during Donald Trump’s first year in office, and most recently courted controversy for calling teen climate activist Greta Thunberg “thunder thighs,” said, “God bless you.”

As the Daily Dot noted in its coverage of the impeachment articles, “Greene is a supporter of the QAnon conspiracy, which claims that former President Donald Trump is embroiled in a war with ‘deep state’ enemies, and has also been accused of racism, anti-Semitism, and Islamophobia.”
The article also noted that MTG’s been working to get the #ImpeachBidenNow hashtag working.

We’ll see how that goes.
