Trump Pushes Election Fraud Claims At CPAC, Says He’ll “Beat [Democrats] For A Third Time”

When it was announced that former president Donald Trump would be speaking at CPAC over the weekend, it was obvious nothing good would come from it. The golden Trump statue dragged into the conference last week was a painfully blatant reminder that the cult surrounding the former president still prioritizes him above everything else, even the good of the country.

His speech proved more of the same. Trump is still all caught up in his false claims that the election was stolen from him.

He used his time back on stage to complain about “election security” in states he lost, to lash out at the specific Republicans he now feels are his enemies, and to slam the Supreme Court for not overturning the election and handing the presidency to him.

And he yet again claimed that he won the 2020 election, despite his claims of widespread fraud proving to have no basis in reality and Joe Biden sitting in the Oval Office as the 46th President of the United States while Trump himself is stuck talking to voters he despises at CPAC.

“I may even decide to beat [the Democrats] for a third time,” he told a screaming crowd, seemingly forgetting that he skipped over beating them for a second time.

While far too many of his supporters are still buying his easily disproven lie, Trump’s insistence on pushing this narrative even after it helped incite a failed insurrection in his name has drawn ridicule from others across the world.

And some issued warnings, hoping everyone will take preparing for a potential 2024 Trump candidacy seriously, and realize that he’s proven there’s no end to what he’s willing to do to achieve his goals.

With Trump even going so far as to threaten the jobs of other members of his own political party in his quest to not only regain power but ensure that everyone else with any influence is loyal to him above all else, the four years leading up to the next election are already looking to be long and arduous.

And who knows how many more golden Trump statues and lies about election fraud Americans will have to put up with until then.
